Karen B. Donahue, Psy.D., is a Licensed Psychologist practicing in Wall Township, New Jersey. Areas of specialty include clinical and forensic psychology. Given her passion for helping individuals and families with emotional adjustment and stability, Dr. Donahue focuses her clinical practice in helping people gain insight and skills to live a healthier, happier, more fulfilling life. She strives to be supportive and empathic of familial needs, and provide high quality services to those experiencing difficulty in life transitions. Services reflect expertise in the field of mental health diagnosis, treatment, consultation, and evaluation.

Dr. Donahue has employed her expertise in a variety of mental health settings, including clinical private practice, outpatient and crisis-based hospital programs, as well as school-based settings. Dr. Donahue advanced her training and skill set, earning a PsyD in Psychology at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2011. With extensive pre and post-doctoral training, her interests have extended to include forensic domains, applying assessment and clinical expertise to family forensic services. In her family forensic practice, she works with families in the various stages of divorce to develop stability in the face of conflict. Evaluative services include child custody/parenting time evaluations, psychological evaluations, brief focused assessments, bonding evaluations, and substance use and risk assessments. She performs an array of forensic services, including court ordered therapy, co-parenting therapy, therapeutic supervision, reunification therapy, and serves as a parent coordinator to assist families safeguard the needs of children through the litigation process.

In addition, Dr. Donahue is trained in alternative dispute resolution, working as a credentialed Mediator and Divorce Coach/Child Specialist in collaborative law and other alternate forms of dispute resolution.
